Joe Anderton

Joe is Associate Director at IT Works Recruitment Europe and IT Works Recruitment UK, bringing extensive experience across specialist ERP recruitment and a strong understanding of the people and skills behind successful ERP projects.

Joe began his career in retail management before moving into recruitment, where he quickly established himself within the Epicor market. He built a strong network across the sector and developed a detailed understanding of the technology, its customers and the specialist talent supporting it.

His career then evolved into the IFS market, where he has continued to develop strong relationships with consultants, customers and organisations across the ERP community. His experience across both markets has given him a broad perspective on the specialist skills required to support ERP programmes and the people behind them.

Joe went on to become Head of Practice, taking on greater responsibility for team development, market growth and his contribution to the wider leadership team. During this time, he became increasingly involved in the wider development and direction of the business.

In October 2026, Joe was promoted to Associate Director at IT Works Recruitment and IT Works Recruitment Europe. His role now extends beyond individual ERP practices, with a focus on supporting the development of both businesses, their people and their continued growth across the specialist ERP market.

Joe brings a practical, relationship-led approach to his role, combining market knowledge with a genuine interest in helping both people and businesses move forward.
