About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IFS Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic IFS initiatives across our European business. This is a fully remote position based in Spain, offering the opportunity to work with global stakeholders while managing the implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of the IFS ERP platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal business and technical teams, as well as managing relationships with external IFS implementation partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires a proactive leader with excellent stakeholder management skills, a strong understanding of ERP project delivery, and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of IFS Cloud and IFS Applications projects across the organisation.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and project governance.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional internal teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and leadership.
Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of external IFS implementation and support partners, ensuring deliverables meet agreed quality and timeline expectations.
Act as the primary point of contact between the business, IT teams, and third-party implementation partners.
Facilitate project planning sessions, workshops, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
Ensure effective change management, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project financials and resource planning while ensuring successful project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement and promote best practices across ERP project delivery.
Support future IFS enhancements, upgrades, and strategic initiatives.
Required Experience
Proven experience managing IFS Cloud or IFS Applications projects.
Demonstrated success delivering ERP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programmes.
Experience managing both internal project teams and external IFS implementation partners or system integrators.
Strong understanding of project governance, change management, and ERP delivery methodologies.
Experience working within international or multi-country organisations.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and third-party vendors.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud and/or IFS Applications.
Excellent project planning and organisational skills.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification is desirable.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Language Requirements
Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.
Spanish is advantageous but not essential.
Travel
This is a fully remote position based in Spain.
Occasional travel (approximately 10–20%) to customer sites, partner locations, and company offices across Europe will be required for project workshops, governance meetings, and key delivery milestones.
