The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IFS Cloud Project Manager to support a major international ERP transformation for a leading German energy organisation.

With approximately 2,500 employees and operations across Europe, the USA and Asia, the organisation is looking to replace its existing ERP landscape with IFS Cloud, establishing a unified and scalable ERP platform across its international operations.

The initial implementation will take place within the Polish business entity (approximately 60 employees), with the solution designed around the requirements of the much larger German operation (approximately 1,400 employees).

The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day project management and delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders, IFS and the implementation partner to ensure the initial deployment establishes the correct foundations for the wider international rollout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the IFS Cloud implementation.

  • Establish and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and resource requirements.

  • Coordinate internal project teams, IFS consultants and external implementation partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the business, IFS and implementation partner.

  • Ensure the initial Polish implementation is designed with the wider German and international business requirements in mind.

  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.

  • Drive business process alignment across multiple international entities.

  • Ensure existing German operational processes and business requirements are understood and incorporated into the IFS solution.

  • Challenge implementation partner recommendations where necessary, ensuring the solution reflects the customer's best interests.

  • Coordinate workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, testing and implementation activities.

  • Drive change management and stakeholder engagement throughout the project.

  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and communication between technical teams and business users.

  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports and presentations to senior management and board-level stakeholders.

  • Support the transition from initial implementation into subsequent international rollouts.

Required IFS Experience

  • Extensive experience as an IFS Project Manager, ERP Project Manager or IFS Implementation Lead.

  • Proven track record delivering multiple end-to-end IFS implementations.

  • Strong experience with IFS Cloud implementations and go-lives.

  • Experience managing IFS implementation partners and working directly with IFS.

  • Strong understanding of IFS functional capabilities and business processes.

  • Experience managing international, multi-entity ERP implementations.

  • Understanding of Finance, Service Management, Field Service Management and Supply Chain processes.

  • Experience managing project teams, budgets, timelines, risks and stakeholder expectations.

  • Strong business process understanding, with the ability to translate operational requirements into an effective ERP solution.

Relevant Functional Knowledge

Experience across the following IFS areas would be particularly beneficial:

  • Service Management: Service operations, maintenance processes and service delivery.

  • Field Service Management (FSM): Field-based workforce management and maintenance operations.

  • Service Dispatching: Scheduling, resource allocation and dispatching of field engineers.

  • Mobile Work Order / Mobile Workforce: Mobile solutions supporting field engineers and operational teams.

  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain: Logistics, inventory and wider operational processes.

Experience with newer IFS service and mobile workforce solutions, including Resolve, would be advantageous but is not essential.
