IFS Application Manager – IFS Cloud

Onsite: Full-time initially, gradually moving to 3 days per week onsite

The Role
We are looking for an experienced IFS Application Manager to join a global IFS Cloud transformation programme based in Rotterdam.
The project is currently at the final stage of delivering the global IFS Cloud template. Two environments are already live, although not yet with the full functionality. The final global template is expected to be delivered before the end of 2026, with preparations for wider rollouts expected to fully commence in early 2027.
The successful candidate will join the team responsible for receiving migrated environments and managing the IFS Cloud solution at L2/L3 level, ensuring the platform remains stable, well-documented and effectively supported.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, documenting processes and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities required to keep the IFS Cloud application running effectively
- Handle and resolve service requests and incident tickets at L2/L3 level
- Support ongoing application management and troubleshooting
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring application management tasks, requests and incidents
- Manage user access and permissions
- Perform regression testing following system changes, updates and fixes
- Support the transition and acceptance of migrated IFS environments
- Identify opportunities to improve application support processes
- Actively transfer knowledge to the wider application management team
- Explain technical and functional processes clearly to colleagues and users
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure application management procedures are up to date
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as an IFS Application Manager / IFS Application Support Consultant
- Strong all-round knowledge of IFS applications and application management
- Experience supporting IFS at L2/L3 level
- Strong understanding of incident and service request management
- Comfortable creating clear technical and functional documentation
- Able to explain processes and solutions effectively to colleagues — a natural teacher/knowledge sharer
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive "can-do" mentality with a willingness to get involved and solve problems
- Excellent team-player who can work effectively within a global programme
- Experience with IFS Cloud is highly desirable, particularly IFS Cloud 25R2
